Sharsha Upazila is an administrative district of Jessore district in the country. [2]Various governmental, semi-governmental and non-government offices including Sharsha Upazila Parishad's office, Upazila Land Office, Education Office, Sharsha Model Primary School, Sharsha Pilot High School are located in the heart of the upazila.
It is also included in the upazila of Benapole Municipality, the country's largest land port in Sharsha upazila (Benapole land area) and the country's first-class municipality.
In this upazila there is a jute match named Akij Jute Mill.

Position and size
Located on the north side of Jessore-Benapole road, 31 kilometers away from the district headquarters. Sharsha upazila is about 22 54 degrees and 23 13 degrees north latitude and 88 Located between 51 degrees and 89.01 degrees east longitude. Chougacha upazila on the north, Jhikargacha upazila on the east, Kalaroa upazila on Satkhira on the south and West Bengal of India on the west.
History
The exact name of the name of Sharsha upazila is not known. However, it is reported that the headquarters of the upazila headquarters in Sharsha Mouza is named after the name of the Sharsha mausoleum in the name of Sharsha upazila.
