Tobacco cultivation

Naming

History

Evidence of tobacco cultivation has been found in the countries of the continent of Mexico, Mexico 600-700.  Tobacco cultivation was common among native Americans. In addition to smoking, they used to use tobacco as a means of exchange. In some societies, tobacco consumption was considered as the means of communicating with the creator of tobacco after considering the gift of God.

Popularization

In 1559, Tobacco seeds were brought to Europe in order of King Philip II of Spain.  In other parts of Cuba and Caribbean dynasty, cultivation was done for tobacco use in the 18th century.

Tobacco production in India

The Tobacco Board is located in the Guntur city of Andhra Pradesh, India.  The registered tobacco peasantry in India is 96,865 people overall.  Many other non-registered farmers are associated with tobacco cultivation. Tobacco leaves are cultivated in about 0.25% of the cultivable land of India. According to a 2010 study, there are about 3,220 tobacco products manufacturing plants in the countryside.

Research

Some species of tobacco plants are used by scientists to study plant cell science. Tobacco plant has been modeled to improve the development of modern agricultural biotechnology.  In 1982, the first antibiotic-resistant tuberculosis was developed using genotype. Tobacco trees are the first in the field to change genetically or transgenic crops That are cultivated. In 1933, China first certified commercially transgenic tobacco cultivation, which was first recognized as a transgenic plant for cultivation.
